LUNACY

Shot in November 2020 this was a documentary photography project shot on set over the course of the production in Australia's Daintree Rainforest focusing on the cast and crew of the feature. The remote location meant everyone stayed together and no one left after work to go back to their life. There was no phone signal in the rainforest after crossing the river.
The forest is the oldest in the world and pre-dates the ice age. I saw one fern that grows a centimeter every hundred years. This one was about six meters tall making it at least 60,000 years old.
Eight weeks after the principal photography was over the world went into lockdowns with Covid.
